Diversity at FirstBank

These past months have shown us the best and the worst in humanity. We saw individuals and communities rally together to help those devastated by the pandemic. And at the same time, we were given a very stark reminder of how unjust and unequal our world can be.

While we don't have all the answers, nor can we alleviate the anger and sadness many of us are experiencing, we can say, without a doubt:

• We are listening, learning, and here to support change.
• We stand with our friends and colleagues in the Black and African American communities.
• We believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity.
• We reject racism, hatred, and intolerance of any kind.
• And, we continue building a company where race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status and physical and intellectual disabilities hold no barriers.

We have a long way to go when it comes to achieving economic and social justice; not just as an organization, as an industry and as a society. But we are committed to helping. We owe this to our customers, communities and employees.
